The Second Best Day

As new parents each day is like Christmas I know what an analogy but it is true new movements new feeling for me the excitement, the joys and smiles. Just to let all of you know my Bana Greg has 30 year old daughters and six grandchildren but even for him it is so fulfilling to watch him with all of the ever changing excitement, joy and serenity that washes over him as me. Every month that goes by brings us one step closer to God’s blessing to join us here as a family July 2 2010 came with such anticipation over whelming emotions we waited to be called into the room for the next ultrasound. You know the one that they count fingers, toes, check heart, lungs, bones as we looked at our baby in the temporary world they occupies is so amazing. Then to voice of the person doing the testing ask would you like to know the gender, oh what a statement to hear, we both have decided before hand we wanted to know. Well as she put it with such positive over reassurance; well you see that little stub sticking up in front of the umbilical cord well it is a boy. At that moment you could have used the take the over whelming emotions and powered a city block for a day I bet you. It’s a boy we both blubbered out his name Triston Andres Carlyle Mudjakatesmith.  From those seconds life will never be the same our son Triston fills our life with joy, movements, strange bumps sticking out, I feel kicks, thumps, pushing and tossing and turning. My son’s life I carry, our son a baby is a gift from God a blessing grant to us to guide this life to make this world a better place.
